Innovation Discovery Framework: Process Template Copy

Quadrant three of the Innovation Discovery Framework is Process. Process innovation is the implementation of a new or significantly improved production or delivery method. It is often called operational innovation. In this video, Karen will walk you through identifying potential process innovations by paying attention to all your business workflows—internal to the company and between you, your suppliers, and your customers. What steps can you eliminate? How can you save time or shorten a cycle time?

You will identify ways to streamline or transform how you work with suppliers and business partners. You will start to answer detailed questions like, How can you better facilitate information flows with your key operational partners? Who are the key players in your supply chain? What are the mission critical information flows?

In this lesson, Karen will also address industry transformation. Transformation happens when a fundamental shift occurs in how the industry operates. What is simply not done and how would changing this paradigm impact processes and profit?
